Taylor Swift Perfumes/Fragrances over the years

thatsickbeat:

reckless-lovee:

100% agree with this but like 90% of her songs involve her putting down other girls..

wow!!! okay!!! lets go through ALL of her released songs since you are unable to listen to anything on her album besides her popular/most criticized songs

debut album: taylor swift:

  • tim mcgraw: she doesn’t reference another person in this song besides the two people in a relationship
  • picture to burn: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • teardrops on my guitar: clearly she doesn’t tear the other girl down, she is jealous of how her male friend has a girlfriend and wishes it was her instead, she never puts the girl down in a negative way
  • a place in this world: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • cold as you: this song is about how horrible the male was to her while they were in the relationship, no girl is referenced in this song
  • the outside: no girl is referenced in this song
  • tied together with a smile: about a friend who struggled with bulimia, no tearing down at all in this song
  • stay beautiful: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • should’ve said no: ok so there is a female referenced in this song, but only because of what the male chose to do and cheat on her, so she is NOT blaming the female for the males wrong-doing, so no shaming
  • mary’s song: about two people who have been in a relationship for their entire lives, and no female tearing down here
  • our song: no other girl is referenced in this song

0 songs having girl shaming from this album, next album

fearless

  • fearless: no female tearing down, clearly about a relationship between TWO people and how she is head over heels because this is something that’s she’s dreamt of her whole life
  • fifteen: the only reference to another girl/woman in this song is “laughing at the other girls who think they’re so cool” but its not shaming because she knows that she is not in the “cool” crowd and not tearing them down, only saying that they are the cool people at school and she and her friend aren’t, she explains in the song about how shes trying to find herself and what she must do and how “but in your life you’ll do things greater than dating the boy on the football team”
  • love story: no other girl is referenced in this song (inspired by the story romeo and juliet)
  • hey stephen: not a girl tearing down song, she clearly says “well all those other girls are beautiful, but would they write a song for you” so thats not tearing down?
  • white horse: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • you belong with me: since this is the song that EVERYONE complains about, but all she says is that “she wears short skirts, i wear t-shirts, she’s cheer captain and im on the bleachers” shes clearly saying that she isn’t the males “type” and that there are many things that would detract the male from seeing her as someone he might like, and that the other girl is someone who is more attractive on the outside than taylor. i understand the video expresses a “angel/devil” thing, so i get the girl tearing down part there
  • breathe: about her friend who isn’t there anymore and she needs to accept that but she doesn’t know how, no shaming here
  • tell me why: no girl is referenced in this song
  • you’re not sorry: no girl is referenced in this song
  • the way i loved you: no girl is referenced in this song
  • forever & always: about joe jonas who, everyone knows, he broke up with her over a VERY short conversation on the phone, so no girl shaming
  • the best day: about her mom and how she thanks her from day 1 that she’s been there through everything to help her and guide her through whatever dreams that she’s wishes to do in life
  • change: about her record label, no girl shaming here

new total: 1

speak now

  • mine: no other woman is referenced in this song, only about a relationship between two people
  • sparks fly: no girl is referenced in this song
  • back to december: no girl is referenced in this song, only about her and her relationship with taylor lautner of how it’s HER FAULT that she ended the relationship with him and how she wish she could go back and change her mind
  • speak now: not even about her, it’s allegedly about hayley williams and how she liked someone but was afraid to tell the person because he was getting married, but she is referencing a girl and “shaming her” by saying that she is getting married to the person she likes and is constantly complaining about her outfit, personality, etc. ok, i understand this song is girl shaming
  • dear john: about john mayer and how he treated her badly while they were in a relationship, there is no shaming to a woman in this song, only that the other women that he dated and how he mentally abused them in a way “All the girls that you’ve run dry have tired lifeless eyes”
  • mean: about a man who is a music critic who said that taylor can’t sing, there is no girl shaming in this song
  • the story of us: about a relationship, no girl shaming here
  • never grow up: no girl shaming; about her brother and herself explaining that she wishes she’d never grown up and wishes she was still a child
  • enchanted: no girl shaming
  • better than revenge: “shes better known for what she does on the mattress” is girl shaming considering that shes degrading her for saying she is only known for sex, ok
  • innocent: about kanye west, not a tearing down song at all, and last time i checked, he’s not a woman?
  • haunted: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • last kiss: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • long live: about her band and her fans, no shaming is in this song

0 + 1 + 2 = 3 songs in total, next album

red:

  • state of grace: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • red: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • treacherous: once again, no other girl is referenced in this song
  • i knew you were trouble: the only part of thing song is when she sings “and you never loved me, or her, or anyone, or anything” and thats not shaming her, she’s just saying shes in the same place as those other people because she was foolish since she new this was a bad sign from the beginning but she dated the person anyway knowing his past with his relationships
  • all too well: no other girl is referenced in this song; only reminiscing on a relationship that she had
  • 22: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • i almost do: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • we are never ever getting back together: no other girl is referenced in this song, only about her relationship with someone else and how they are clearly never getting back together
  • stay stay stay: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • the last time: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • holy ground: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • sad beautiful tragic: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • the lucky one: not about a relationship, only about how traumatic it is mentally being in the limelight
  • everything has changed: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • starlight: no other girl is referenced in this song
  • begin again: no other girl is referenced in this song

brighteyedswift:

So here is basically what went down… On Wednesday, I got an email from Taylor Nation and on Thursday, they called me and it was a done deal. I live in Florida so my mom and I decided to drive to Nashville on Saturday. No one knew we were going there. Sunday comes around and it was the SLOWEST PASSING DAY IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I just wanted it to be time to go. We got to the check in location and it was running a bit late so we didn’t get on the buses for an hour. I made so many amazing friends while waiting though and I’m so glad we got to share last night. There were 89 of us at the check in so we weren’t really sure how we were all going to fit into her apartment… Then her bodyguard told us that we were using someone’s home because they trust us and my mind immediately went to Taylor’s parents’ home. We pulled up to the house and it was crazy. All of us were in shock and didn’t know how to process anything. We went to the pool area and there was all kinds of different food. THE CHICKEN NUGGETS GAVE ME LIFE. We finished eating and then we waited to go into the house. We entered through this room that had a really old family photo and there was that photo of all of the Red Tour family including the crew. My friends and I managed to get seats in the front of the room. It was SO packed cause they had to fit 89 people into a living room, but we made it work. When Taylor came in everyone was screaming and my friends and I screamed “BECKY” and Taylor was like “Becky’s dead!! Let’s take a moment of silence.” She then said, “Hi Amanda!” so Amanda lost it. Taylor kept recognizing people in the crowd it was crazy. Taylor explained how she had been scouring social media for months and picking all of us to be there. There were lots of little conversations here and there, which were adorable. Taylor showed us her pegacorn phone case and also struggled with some technical difficulties. Taylor told us little stories of what inspired each song, which I am not allowed to talk about so please do not ask. The album is seriously AMAZING. It’s unlike anything she has ever done. It’s not bubblegum pop either. It’s really well produced and it has that Taylor feel to it. The lyrics are amazing in each song, while still being really catchy. Shake It Off is an amazing song and I love it, but the rest of the album is even better. Everyone is so unprepared. Taylor also played us one of the voice memos that will be on the Target deluxe edition and it’s so cool to kind of get a look into her mind. She told us to count how many times she said “whatever” and “like” in the voice memo and it was so funny. She then played us how the song ended up after being mixed and all of that and it’s definitely one of my favorites. I can’t even remember at what point, but we took an intermission where Taylor went to go get us snacks and she brought out Olivia. I got to hold Olivia and nearly died at how soft she is. When I saw Taylor had like four platters of different things she baked for us, I headed over there. She was talking to people and one guy took one of her chai cookies (the ones she posted on Instagram) and was like “THIS IS LIKE CHRISTMAS IN MY MOUTH” and she was like “THAT’S WHAT I WAS GOING FOR” and got really excited about it. I took a cookie and thanked her and headed over to talk to Liz and Teresa and we were all dying. Taylor made her way back to her chair and finished playing the rest of the album. Taylor was dancing and mouthing the words to every single song. She’s so proud of the album and it’s very clear why. After she finished playing the album we had a huge dance party to Shake It Off. It was crazy. The floor was shaking and the chandeliers were shaking too. My mom said her parents were looking at all of the lamps and lights like they were so afraid. After we had the dance party we all went back out to the pool area and were told to get into our group numbers. My friends and I got to talk to Scott while waiting to go back in to meet Taylor. Taylor had these really cool huge door mats that said “T.S. 1989” and we told him that they should sell them on the online store. He said he would tell them so if they appear on the store, then you’re welcome. Scott was so nice and we talked for a solid 10 minutes. Then it was time for the group before mine to go in and I was getting really nervous. When I finally got inside and I was the next person to meet Taylor I was like this isn’t real. I went up to her and hugged her and she was like “HEY MAN” I introduced myself and we just talked. She said that she loved my dress and wanted to say something during the listening session, but didn’t want to get off track. At one point she interrupted me and said, “I love your dimples and how they’re different from each other. I’ve never seen anything like that!! Have you ever noticed before?” It was so cute she was like obsessed with them. We talked for a bit more and I heard a woman say that we should take the picture so I asked Taylor if we could do the arm thing she does with a lot of her friends and she literally had no idea what I was talking about. So I showed her what I meant and she was like “That’s such a good idea!!” So we posed and she told me the photo would take 30 minutes to develop and we said bye. I walked away, but my mom told me she wanted me in her photo so I came back and I told Taylor that I loved how she was playing Ed and told her about our trip to Nashville two weeks ago and she was like “Isn’t he amazing?!” I then said, “Can I hold the Grammy?” And she was like “YES YOU SHOULD” and passed it to me. It was her Grammy for White Horse. I told her that it was the best night of my life and she yelled “YES” and did this cute thing. We got merch bags and soon enough we were back on the buses. It was the most magical night ever and I can’t thank Taylor and her team enough. I’m seriously so stoked for 1989. I’m so proud of you and I love you taylorswift.
